HEAT OVEN AT 350°F
PUT SOME OLIVE OIL IN AN LARGE CASSEROLE AND PLACE THE ONIONS.
ADD THE RAISINS, PINE NUTS, ROSEMARY, GARLIC, SALT. DRIZZLE WITH MORE OLIVE OIL.
ADD THE BALSAMIC VINEGAR AND PUT THE CASSEROLE IN THE PREHEATED OVEN FOR ABOUT 20-30 MINUTES, UNTIL TENDER.
SERVE WARM AS A SIDE DISH WITH ITALIAN BREAD.
