IN A MEDIUM SAUCE PAN, OVER MEDIUM HEAT, BOIL THE MILK WITH SALT AND SUGAR, STIRRING

ADD THE EGG YOLKS, RUM, VANILLA AND GRATED LEMON RIND AND STIRR EVERYTHING TOGETHER
