1 - 3/4 CUPS (375 gr.) SUGAR
8 oz. (250 gr.) NATURAL ALMONDS
2 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
THREE EGGS
1/2 CUP (100 gr.) UNSALTED BUTTER MELTED
1 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
1 EGG BEATEN
RECIPE
HEAT OVEN AT 350°F
IN LARGE BOWL MIX FLOUR, SUGAR AND BAKING POWDER.
ADD 3 EGGS, MELTED BUTTER AND VANILLA EXTRACT. MIX.
ADD ALMONDS AND MIX. THE DOUGH WILL BE DRY.
DEVIDE THE DOUGH IN THREE.
ON A SLIGHTLY FLOURED SURFACE, ROLL THE DOUGH TO FORM THREE LOGS.
PLACE ON BAKING SHEET AND BRUSH WITH THE BEATEN EGG.
BAKE FOR 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN. LET THE LOGS COLL A LITTLE.
ON A CUTTING BOARD, CUT THE CANTUCCINI ON A SLANT. ENJOY WITH VIN SANTO.
