MAKE A WELL WITH THE FLOUR, ADD THE SUGAR, LEMON, EGGS, BUTTER (SOFTENED AND IN SMALL PIECES), MARSALA, BAKING POWDER AND VANILLA. USING YOUR HANDS WORK THE DOUGH UNTIL IT IS SMOOTH
ROLL THE DOUGH ON A FLOURED SURFACE
CUT THE DOUGH IN RECTANGLES AND MAKE TWO INCISIONS IN THE CENTER
PLACE ON A COOKIE SHEET COVERD WITH PARCMENT PAPER AND BAKE IN THE PREHEATED OVEN 10- 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL COOKED. TAKE OUT OF THE OVEN.
