HEAT OVEN AT 350°F
WASH AND DRY THE SCALLOPS WITH THE SHELL, MAKING SURE THERE IS NO SAND UNDER THE SCALLOPS
IN A SMALL BOWL MIX THE BREAD CRUMBS, PARMIGIANO CHEESE, PARSLEY, GARLIC, SALT, PEPPER AND WINE
PLACE THE SCALLOPS ON A BAKING SHEET COVERED WITH SARAN WRAP. COVER EACH SCALLOP WITH SOME OF THE BREAD CRUMB MIXTURE, ADD 1/2 TBLSPOON OF BUTTER AND PLACE IN THE PREHEATED OVEN FOR 10 MINUTES
TAKE THE SCALLOPS OUT OF THE OVEN WHEN COOKED AND THE BREAD CRUMBS START TO TOAST.
CUT THE ALMONDS VERY THIN AND SPRINKLE OVER THE SCALLOPS (OPTIONAL). THIS APPETIZER IS PERFECT FOR CHRISMAS EVE OR NEW YEAR'S EVE. ENJOY AND BUON APPETITO!!
