RECIPE
PLACE THE WATER AND SUGAR IN A POT AND PRING TO A BOIL, SET A SIDE
WASH AND DRY THE LEMONS. USING A POTATO PEELER, PEEL THE LEMONS AVOIDING THE WHITE PART OF THE INNER SKIN
PLACE THE LEMON PEELS IN THE JAR AND ADD THE ALCOHOL. CLOSE THE JAR TIGHTLY
IN A VERY LARGE POT, BRING WATER TO 50°C (122°F). TURN OFF THE HEAT
PLACE THE JAR IN THE HOT WATER AND COVER THE POT. LET STAND FOR AT LEAST 2 HOUR, BUT IT CAN STAY UNTIL THE WATER IS AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
POUR THE LIQUOR IN THE COOLED WATER AND SUGAR MIXTURE AND STIR. DO NOT ADD THE LIQUOR TO THE SUGARED WATER UNLESS IT'S COOL. DRAIN USING A FINE COLLANDER AND BOTTLE. PLACE THE BOTTLE IN THE FREEZER
