RECIPE

HEAT OVEN AT 350°F
AFTER YOU PREPARED YOUR CREMA PASTICCIERA AND IT IS COOL, START TO UNROLL YOUR PASTRY DOUGH. FLATTEN THEM WITH A ROLLING PIN AND PRICK THEM WITH A FORK. LAY ONE OF THE SHEETS ON A COOKIE SHEET, HELPING YOURSELF WITH A PIPING BAG SPREAD THE CREMA PASTICCIERA ON THE DOUGH LEAVING ENOUGH EDGE ON THE SIDES TO FOLD IT. PLACE THE SECOND SHEET OF PASTRY DOUGH OVER THE CREMA PASTICCIERA AND SEAL THE EDGES. SPRINKLE GRANULATED SUGAR AND PLACE IN THE PREHEATED OVEN UNTILL GOLDEN BROWN, ABOUT 30 MINUTES. TAKE OUT OF THE OVEN, LET COOL, CUT IN SQUARES AND DUST WITH POWDERED SUGAR. ENJOY FOR BREAKFAST OR AS A SNACH, BUT THESE SQUARES ARE DELICIOUS EVEN WORM AS A DESSERT  WITH ICE CREAM. BUON APPETITO!!
